Project Manager - North America

Job Description


The Project Manager – North America (PMNA) will be responsible for managing North American project commitments from receipt of purchase orders through to completion and acceptance by the customer.


Essential Job Duties

  • Coordinate with PMSpA regarding budget, schedule, and customer satisfaction from receipt of purchase order through final installation and acceptance at the customer’s site as well as IQ/OQ and Validation activities.  
  • Responsible for customer satisfaction; maintain regular contact with key customer representatives, ensuring all key project events and issues are documented in writing.
  • Support the design teams and other Project Managers in all project-related issues.
  • Assist with preparing quotations and attend customer pre-order visits when required.
  • Coordinate travel plans for ATS personnel; Manage project risks; assessment and Identification of risks, develop and implement Risk Mitigation Plans, and Forecasting
  • Develop suitable budget allocations for Comecer labor and materials. 
  • Oversee project schedule development and identify critical path activities.
  • Manage project resources; ensure that adequate resources are assigned to all project tasks.
  • Ensure all project deliverables are accomplished and supporting documentation is prepared for each project milestone payment.  
  • Hold team communication meetings on a regular basis.
  • Other duties as required.

Additional Information



  • Bachelor’s degree or post-secondary education in Engineering, Nuclear Medicine, or Microbiology.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) designation is preferred.
  • Experience with Service Project Kick-Off (PKO) meetings and Project Execution Planning (PEP).
  • Ability to work effectively with internal, cross-functional teams and customers according to deadlines and under pressure-filled conditions.
  • Self-driven, attentive to detail, consistent, and process driven.
  • Fluent in English, written and oral, fluent in Italian is an asset
  • Experienced in the use of a CRM and thorough understanding of its importance.
  • Excellent time-management skills and ability to efficiently coordinate multiple projects at a time.
  • Proficient with Microsoft software tools including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point etc.
  • Experience managing budgets, financial forecasting and developing labor and material estimates.
  • Must be eligible and able to travel domestically & internationally, up to 20%, within 30 days from hire date and legally eligible to operate a vehicle, as this is an essential job function.
