Senior Project Manager
Job Description
Responsibilities:
Bid to Complete engagement and ownership as per project management workflow
Project performance monitoring & forecasting
Percentage of Completion, Estimate to Complete, Estimate at Completion, Margin, Cash, Earned Value management
Drive regular internal and external progress meetings and prepare supporting project reports
Conduct internal and external project reviews following defined policies and procedures
Prepare and maintain the project schedule
Define staffing plans for assigned projects with support from Operations
Manage sub-contractors
Manage materials workflow for the project
Quotes, Purchase Order requisitions, bidding, procurement, expediting, receiving
Understand, manage, and mitigate risks
Negotiate and manage change orders
Effectively collaborate with internal departments, including Operations, Finance, Sales, and HR
Perform regular quality checks of each aspect of assigned projects
As needed, manage projects in person and on customer site
Adhere to all PA-ATS PMO processes and documentation requirements
Ensure team is in compliance with applicable ATS/PAS and customer/site training requirements
Provide full transparency for all aspects of project
Lead with a “can do” attitude and foster the same throughout the project team
Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
Leverage Sr. Management and CoEs for problem solving and guidance as necessary
Create a high-performance culture by setting high expectations, empowering the team, providing coaching/feedback, and reviewing performance to ensure the highest performance standards
Ensure all activities are performed with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with the ATS Code of Business Conduct
Demonstrate leadership in Health & Safety compliance and drive a safe working culture
Responsibilities for Health, Safety and Environment include:
Ensure that all employees, including temporary workers and contractors, are trained and familiarized with ATS/PAS and customer site safety requirements.
Including the use of personal protective equipment
Apply progressive discipline as appropriate for health, safety and/or environmental violations
Support periodic inspections and audits as required by ATS/PAS in accordance with legislative and/or corporate requirements
Assist the ATS/PAS HSE group with accident/incident investigations and necessary reports
Support activities and initiatives outlined by the Joint Health and Safety Committee
