Job Description

Position Purpose or Summary:

The purpose of the Programmer & Software Developer is to co-creation with mechanical design team and realize software solutions according to function specifications.

Software solutions includes the machine automation and motion system, human machine interface (HMI), its documentation and furthermore the integration of third party devices into the machine functions.

Preparation of wiring diagrams.

The programming based on the IWK software standards and includes the following duties and responsibilities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Adapt existing machine software to customized function specification

• Development and test of software for new designed machine function groups according to the IWK software standards

• Model upgrading of machine software

• Adaption of wiring diagrams for each machine according to customized machine orders

• Timely reparation, providing of software and wiring diagrams to the electrical department

• Archiving and upgrading machine software and documentation data base

• Support of the electrical commissioning team

• Support of documentation department

• Technical support of requests from the Service Department

Additional Information

Qualifications:

Bachelor Degree in Mechatronic, Electrical or Mechanical engineering or comparable
2-year experience would be an advantage but if no experience is still acceptable

Technical background preferred

Ability and knowledge of software development tools
