Mulesoft Full Stack Developer

Job Summary:

Position:              MuleSoft/Full Stack Developer
Department:        Global IT Shared Services
Reports To:          Director, IT Applications and Development

The Software Developer must be able to work with key business stakeholders and IT Business Analysts to develop, modify and maintain software solutions in a fast-paced environment.  This role is targeted for a MuleSoft Integration Developer with either Full Stack Developer experience or willingness to learn.

What you will do:

• Collaborate with Business Systems Analysts to develop technical specifications and test plans
• Developing existing programs by analyzing and identifying areas for modification;
• Maintaining systems by monitoring and correcting software defects;
• Working closely with other staff, such as project managers, business analysts, other developers, systems analysts and system architects
• Consulting clients and colleagues concerning the maintenance and performance of software systems with a view to writing or modifying current operating systems;
• Investigating new technologies
• Presenting ideas for system improvements, including cost proposals
• Collaborative testing the product in controlled, real situations before going live
• Determines operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.
• Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.
• Prepares and installs solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.
• Improves operations by conducting systems analysis; recommending changes in policies and procedures.
• Obtains and licenses software by obtaining required information from vendors; recommending purchases; testing and approving products.
• Protects operations by keeping information confidential.
• Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues.
• Develops software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle.

What you will need:

Education & Certification:

• University degree or college diploma in an IT Software Development discipline 
• 3+ years of Software Development experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform
• .Net experience is an asset 
• Relevant product & technology certifications or proven experience

Knowledge & Experience:

• Strong experience in MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and Enterprise Integrations
• Good technical experience on various components of Anypoint Platform like Anypoint API Manager, Enterprise Service Bus, CloudHub and Messaging Queues
• Experience in designing and developing  RAML based APIs using Anypoint API Platform
• Worked on developing batch integration to transfer data in bulk between enterprise applications
• Worked on several connectors such as JMS, HTTP, SFTP, SAP, Database, etc.
• Experience in building complex Mule flows, Scopes, Error Handling Strategies, Transformation and Flow Controls
• Experience in building or improving Mule logic to be highly efficient and low resource usage
• Good exposure to Continuous Integration and Delivery Tools surrounding the Anypoint Platform such as CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Maven, Anypoint Runtime Manager
• Strong experience in database architecture and integrations like MS SQL, Mongo DB, etc.
• Experience with .Net development (C#), Java, JavaScript, JQuery and HTML, Angular are an asset
• Demonstrate an ability to learn quickly in a rapid-paced environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong desire to learn new industries and technologies
