IT Business Solution & Digitization Leader

Job Description

ROLE SUMMARY:

  • Provides strategic and operational leadership to the segment IT business solution and digitization organization. 
  • Has and continuously pressure tests/refreshes deep insight into todays and tomorrow’s customer needs as well as into business processes/operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Corporate IT on overall IT strategy while develop and implement the segment specific IT strategy.
  • Work with IT Project Managers, Architects, Business Systems Analysts, and other team members to assess options, define business case & ROI and implement solutions.
  • Implements the IT strategy, manages resources needed, sets objectives, and is aligned with the global ATS IT organization.
  • Select and implement suitable technology to streamline all internal operations and help optimize their strategic benefits.
  • Designs and customizes technological systems and platforms, when solutions are not available, to improve customer experience and operational efficiency.
  • Plans the implementation of new systems and provide guidance to IT professionals and other staff within the organization.
  • Oversees segment specific project delivery and implementation by owning the overall process and ensures related process & resource availability. 
  • Monitor changes or advancements in technology to discover ways the company can gain competitive advantage.
  • Analyze and improve cost control, value and risks of information technology to advise management and suggest actions.

  • Technical background (knows CAD, PLM, digital twin, project management)

  • Proven leader, oriented to create followership, build and coach teams in a collaborative, team-oriented culture.
  • Strong relationship manager who can get things done without direct accountability. An integrative people leader driving talent bench strength, employee engagement and internal career pathing at all levels.
  • Delivers performance while building organizational capability and depth.


QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

  • A degree in engineering, business or other related field.
  • MBA or another graduate degree is preferred.

Experience:

  • Successfully led complex system implementations/installations for at least 5 years (technical product, demanding business groups, multiple stakeholders, large projects).
  • Proven experience as CIO or similar leadership role
  • Background in designing/developing IT systems and planning IT implementation
  • Developing effective processes and be capable to drive sustainable change in a highly dynamic environment.
  • International background within global organizations coupled with proven experience in developing transformative and effective processes and strategies.
  • Proven experience building, mentoring, motivating and leading high-performing teams and attracting and retaining top talent in a hot labor market.
  • Strong communication skills are required.
