Digital Marketing Specialist

 

Job Description

OVERVIEW

The Digital Marketing Specialist will support collaborative efforts in the distribution of integrated marketing services used to attract, engage, and convert customers online for ATS Life Sciences’ (ATS LS) front end of the business. The successful candidate will utilize various integrated marketing channels, including but not limited to social media, paid media, content marketing, SEO optimization, in addition to other emerging tools and platforms to develop and deploy cohesive messages for the market, such that all outbound messages have the look and feel that reinforces the ATS LS brand. 

  
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

•    Plan and execute all digital marketing activities, including SEO/SEM, marketing database, email andpaid media, , taking into consideration buyer’s journey, customer personas, market segments, and other appropriate filters
•    Identify new and leverage existing IT platforms to maximize efficiency, productivity, and financial benefits to the organization, including Pardot, WordPress VIP, Salesforce, Google Analytics, Yoast, SEM Rush and AdWords
•    Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience
•    Measure, analyse, report, optimise and improve digital strategies by identifying appropriate metrics, monitoring designing/executing performance and conversion testing, paid media, and recommending course corrections as required 
•    Plan, execute and measure experiments and conversion tests
•    Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points
•    Work with marketing team to support campaigns, social media, events, etc., from web to print media, by delivering on associated digital marketing tasks
•    Manage and update the ATS LS website, including development of website content and optimization of existing content by utilizing digital marketing tools as a mean to identify any gaps 
•    Manage all paid media and proactively identify areas of opportunity to grow our brand presence
•    Research website trends, digital technologies, competitor strategies, market behaviours, etc., provide response and/or proactive recommendations, and integrate these into plans 
•    Contribute to social media strategy, suggesting new and exciting opportunities for growth
•    Identify keywords and help to create and optimize content accordingly
•    Regularly liaise with Corporate Marketing, Investor Relations, IT, other ATS businesses’ marketing teams, and Legal departments to ensure compliance with branding, messaging, GDPR, security, etc.
•    Manage the work of suppliers and agencies when executing marketing activities

Additional Information

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

•    Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field
•    Minimum four years’ with hands-on digital marketing experience 
•    Fluent in written and spoken English
•    Proficient with digital marketing channels and tools including SalesForce, Pardot, Semrush, WordPress VIP, A/B testing, Yoast, Google Ad Manager, AdWords, LinkedIn Ads, etc.
•    Proficient in Excel/Word/PowerPoint with the ability to analyze data and prepare reports (including the use of charts, and vlookups). Experience using web metric programs (Google Analytics, etc.) and experience working across multiple data sources
•    Advanced experience with front-end web and email coding using HTML and CSS 
•    Demonstrated success with SEO/SEM
•    Creative self-starter with ability to work on tasks in unstructured environment with little direction, and manage complex situations and multiple priorities
•    Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
•    Disciplined self-starter and independent worker; able to work from home
•    Bonus points for:
o    Graphic design/UX education and/or experience using Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
o    Previous experience managing a multilingual website or enterprise-level website
o    Previous experience marketing within the life sciences industry
