Overview
ATS’ Global Services team is a dynamic, change-leading team that drives the delivery of value-driven Services to our customers worldwide. Services is a growing component of the overall delivery of value to ATS’ customers globally and offers an opportunity for an opportunistic individual to create a well-defined offer structure of high-value service solutions to drive ongoing value.
Our design for maintenance culture, machine builder DNA and data-centric approach gives us a comprehensive understanding of the operation and maintenance of automated manufacturing systems and equipment, reduces diagnostic effort and repair time, and allows us to prioritize actions to maximize ROI for our customers.
ATS Global Services is going through a period of reinvention. You will be part of the team that is building our new brand identity and creating the foundational sales & marketing assets that will power our new go-to-market strategy. The creativity and passion you bring to your work will have a real and quantifiable impact on the growth of our business.
Responsibilities
- Aid in the creation of templated and branded marketing assets:
- Work directly with the marketing team to create sales sheets, brochures, PowerPoint presentations and other marketing materials.
- General Graphics support:
- Deliver creative design solutions that align with business objectives and brand standards.
- Some experience and a basic understanding of video editing, animation and a willingness to learn more.
- Support and assist team with small and frequent requests to allow team to focus on larger campaigns and initiatives.
- This would include things like graphics and diagrams, PPT decks, edits to existing assets, updating creative resources.
- Comfortable actively seeking out feedback from other designers and stakeholders, practices self-critique, and is receptive to the positive contribution others can make.
- An awareness of web and accessibility standards is an asset.
- Ensure that all business activities are performed with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with the ATS Code of Business Conduct.
Qualifications
- Must be enrolled or have completed a graphic design or visual arts program at a post-secondary institution.
- Portfolio showcasing your creativity and skill.
- Great communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills including multi-tasking and time management.
- Experience in Adobe Creative cloud, including but not limited to Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
- Comfortable learning new techniques quickly from the creative team.
- Creative mindset and stamina to try new things and figure out how to continuously improve.
Bonus points if you have ...
- Journalism experience.
- Passion for photography or video production.
- Basic HTML, WordPress and web design knowledge.
The successful candidate has the option of working remotely during regular business hours or from our Cambridge, Ontario campus. There will be 1 required day on campus for orientation.
