HRIS Specialist

Job Description

 

Position Title: HRIS Technology Specialist
Department: Corporate Human Resources
Reports To: Director, Total Rewards

 

Job Summary:
The HRIS Technology Specialist will be the go-to person in ensuring accurate data is collected and reported on all of our key metrics through researching, compiling, interpreting, summarizing and reporting important HR data from various sources, including compensations and benefits and employee performance.

Within this role you will also be responsible for maintaining and providing support on all modules of the HRIS solution, and working closely with other HRIS users across multiple global teams and outside vendors. You will contribute to the success of overall global HR strategy through your insights, research, workforce analytics, data collection and establishment of best practices.
 

Job Responsibilities

 

System Support:

  • Maintain HRIS System (SAP SuccessFactors), data integrity, and overall function in collaboration with IT and other stakeholders
  • Design and maintain a robust suite of reports and dashboards to provide the HR team and business leaders with real-time analytics and insight into the current workforce
  • Conduct advanced analytics and perform data modeling/collection on specific HR metrics such as retention, turnover and internal transfer rates in order to identify risk, trends and patterns
  • Translate collected data into HR Business requirements, recommendations and actionable items
  • Prepare clear and succinct reports and visuals that displays trends and statistics to support internal clients and employees upon request
  • Provide ongoing research, analytics and recommendations to support the HR department and the business in making effective decisions

 

Project Coordination & Implementation:

  • Focus on and assist with various HR initiatives and process improvements in alignment with our ATS Business Model (ABM)
  • Develop and participate in design and delivery of HR tools
  • Manage, track and deliver on SuccessFactors projects and releases
  • Ensure that all business activities are performed with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with the ATS Code of Business Conduct.
     

Qualifications

 

Education:

  • A post-secondary degree/diploma in Human Resources or similar analytical field is required
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, or working towards, considered an asset

 

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years’ experience in administrating and configuring HRIS systems, specifically SAP SuccessFactors
  • End to end compensation module/HRIS module implementation experience
  • Results focused with a passion for providing exceptional client service
  • Solid knowledge of HR systems, data relationships and databases
  • Previous project management and project implementation experience an asset
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint
  • Solid analytical and critical thinking skills including the ability to draw results and implications from multiple data sources with the ability to contribute to decisions and provide recommendations
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and storytelling skills with the ability to not only manipulate and summarize data, but also derive meaningful interpretations from data and ability to articulate in a simple and impactful way to a non-technical audience
  • Experience and willingness to work in a large, complex and changing environment, where responsibilities may shift according to business needs
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion, and handle sensitive information
