Talent Acquisition Business Partner

Job Description

MAJOR DUTIES:

The Talent Acquisition Business Partner plays a lead role by partnering closely with leaders to attract and engage top talent for the ATS Products Group. Responsible for the full-cycle talent acquisition process, collaborating with HR team in ensuring a positive employee onboarding experience, and participating in or leading talent acquisition related projects and process improvements. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring we are hiring the best possible talent throughout the organization, and will be proactive and willing to aid the HR team at times of low recruitment volumes. 


SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

This role encompasses a variety of responsibilities, including but not limited to the following

Business Partnership:
•    Understand the critical objectives of the business and partner with the greater HR network to help influence the culture, create a positive employee experience, and champion relevant organizational changes and initiatives.
•    Develop and cultivate strong relationships with business leaders and hiring managers to understand business needs and objectives in order to develop candidate profiles that match overall requirement and success factors for short and long term needs
•    Coach to hiring managers, and engage with key leaders to ensure strategic alignment 
•    Understand business strategies and analyze talent metrics and data to assist in making appropriate business decisions and recommendations 

Recruitment Strategy:
•    Work closely with the HRBP as it relates to recruitment activities and building the overall recruitment plan 
•    Develop and operationalize recruiting strategies that weaves data analytics, value-fit, and diversity throughout the hiring process
•    Collaborate with hiring managers and HR team to develop job posting content that is alluring to candidates and aligns with business strategy 
•    Develop and deliver training programs for managers around recruitment processes, interviewing and headcount management 
•    Collaborate with and coach hiring managers on identifying key knowledge, skills and abilities for open positions and provide consultation on specific interview questions to identify the right candidates
•    Contribute to the development of new concepts and techniques to attract talent
•    Oversee the full talent acquisition life cycle for each role assigned to you, which includes gaining requisition (req) approvals, intake sessions with the hiring manager, job posting and sourcing, and interviewing
•    Source candidates through a variety of channels including internet mining, direct sourcing, internal transfer, resume data base search, networking, and campus recruitment.
•    Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders on the progress of the searches and the candidate market
•    Develop and integrate the employment brand through social media, job boards and all communications to ensure attraction of results oriented high performers


Employee Experience:
•    Cultivate and develop strong working relationships with internal and external partners to enable the delivery of highly qualified candidates to the business in a timely manner 
•    Supporting onboarding activities of top talent including co-ops, interns, apprentices, and full-time employees.
•    Partner with leaders to ensure new hires are properly on-boarded.


 

Additional Information

Project Support:
•    Participate or lead Talent/Recruitment related projects
•    Use the ABM (ATS Business Model) to foster continuous improvement in the recruitment process.

Administration:
•    Supporting other HR team members with SuccessFactors and LinkedIn
•    Support HR team with communications and employee training
•    Ensure that all business activities are performed with highest ethical standards and in compliance with the ATS Code of Business Conduct.
•    Adhere to all health and safety rules and procedures
 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

•    A post-secondary degree specializing in human resources or equivalent
•    Demonstrated success in sourcing for and filling complex, competitive, senior level roles
•    Proficiency with MS Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Experience:

•    3+ years of full cycle recruitment experience, preferably in engineering or high-tech industry
•    Strong experience sourcing, particularly using LinkedIn
•    Previous experience using various recruitment management systems
•    Enthusiasm to work as part of a team and take on additional duties
•    Strong customer focus and ability to effectively and quickly build relationships
•    Exceptional communication (verbal, written, presentation), facilitation, and training skills with experience engaging and partnering at all levels
