Supply Chain Project Manager

Job Summary:


Our Corporate Supply Chain team is currently looking for a Supply Chain Project Manager who enjoys teamwork and on-going challenging projects.


The Supply Chain Project Manager is responsible for leading strategic corporate projects from initiation through to completion. As a key change agent, the Supply Chain Project Manager is responsible for acting as a business partner to key business leaders in identifying, aligning and prioritizing cross-functional programs and/or change initiatives. The role will have two main areas of focus:


M&A integration: Supporting the viable integration of new acquisitions by focusing on synergies and leveraging best practices




Regional strategic initiatives: Ensuring continuous improvement of opportunities by collaborating with divisions on large-scale projects, supporting specific cost reduction opportunities, initiating VAVE workshops or growing a funnel of opportunities.


The position is a hands-on job requiring excellent organizational skills; as well as the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels, to lead improvement initiatives and deliver tangible business results.
The role can be located in any of our main regional ATS facility (MI, OH, PA, IL) and will report directly to the regional Corporate Director Supply Chain.




• Facilitating workshops during integration to identify synergies and develop a funnel of opportunities aligned with ATS overall objectives
• Collaborating with key stakeholders to prioritize projects, address project changes, and evaluate options. Mobilizing resources and executing timelines based on business needs and requirements
• Realizing expected outcomes fully and expeditiously will be a key measure to success
• Navigating complex interactions with suppliers and internal stakeholders using high-level problem-solving skills
• Supporting divisional initiatives by developing Procurement Plans, project specific opportunities and continuous improvement
• Monitoring, evaluate and report on programs status inclusive of scope, schedule and alignment to strategic goals. Facilitate resolution and drive decisions across project teams, functional managers and upper management
• Working on company-wide projects to include cost reduction, process efficiency, systems optimization, and/or overall business process improvements
• Providing data analysis to support business decision making. and monitor performance
• Creating and publishing dashboard of key indicators of progress that can easily be referenced by team members and stakeholders
• Exercising judgment and discretion to develop solutions, remove obstacles and redefine approaches
• Requiring a tenacious, can-do, and hands on approach when needed
• Working in fast paced environments, delivering high quality outputs with strong attention to detail
• Interacting with the Corporate Category Management team to leverage global strategies
• Ensuring that all business activities are performed with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with the ATS Code of Business Conduct
• Adhering to all health and safety rules and procedures
• Responsible for project success whether project leader or as part of a project team
• Traveling when and where required (upward of 50%) to support multiple plant locations in USA and Canada




•Post-secondary degree in engineering or equivalent technical education and/or knowledge
•PMP designation preferred
•Strong fundamental knowledge of mechanical/electrical designs

•Strong closure skills
•Strong communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
•Strong change management and influencing skills
•Self-motivated, results oriented and possess high degree of initiative
•Ability to lead a team and a team player
•Effective time management skills, works well under pressure
