Project Task Scheduler

Job Description

The Project Task Scheduler is responsible for creating a flexible schedule that drives our employees to create high quality, high value deliverables in a predetermined, trackable task series, all while focusing on the ATS business model: People (winning as a team), Process (formal and disciplined), Performance (delivering value).
 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 
•    Create a schedule of tasks for an assigned project to meet the project schedule.
•    Maintain schedule of assembly tasks to accurately show work in progress and update schedule weekly (or more frequently as needed).
•    Identify potential scheduling delays and work with assembly team to resolve blocking points.
•    Work directly with Project Material Leads to monitor and verify material delivery dates to plan assembly tasking accordingly.
•    Update, record, and report project completion percentages weekly.
•    Participate in meetings as requested, including but not limited to daily project meetings.
•    Communicate any scheduling shortfalls to the Project Management team.
•    Ensure that all business activities are performed with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with the ATS Code of Business Conduct.
•    Adhere to all health and safety rules and procedures.

Additional Information

QUALIFICATIONS:

 
EDUCATION: A bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred, but not required.

EXPERIENCE: Professional experience in project scheduling or technical related experience is an asset, but not essential to be a candidate. A prime candidate for this position will pay close attention to detail. This individual should possess problem-solving skills and be able to adapt to changes in an innovative and advancing industry. Time management, being self-motivated and having the ability to multi-task are all important in this field. Strong relationship-building skills are imperative, as this role depends on working closely with technical experts, project leads, project managers and a multi-discipline team of engineers. 

• Experience in project scheduling software, such as Microsoft Project, Planview and excel.
• Ability to work collaboratively with project teams and management.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to changing project requirements.
