OBJECTIVE:

 

Administer and recommend Human Resources policies, procedures and programs.  The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for recruitment, employee relations support, payroll back-up, benefits administration, HS&E support, support the HR Manager, and division as a whole.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Recruiting and Hiring:

  • Oversee the full talent acquisition life cycle for each role assigned to you, which includes gaining requisition (req) approvals, intake sessions with the hiring manager, job posting and sourcing, and interviewing
  • Screen potential candidates and schedule interviews
  • Oversee the full co-op recruitment hiring needs for the Corporate division
  • Prepare offer packages for new hires.
  • Maintain all records in conformance with record retention policies.
  • Engage with local universities and administrate career fairs.
  • Generate new hire paperwork (training checklists, training plan, benefits enrollment forms).
  • Conduct New Hire Orientation/Onboarding.
     
    Performance Management:
  • Generate probationary evaluations and forward to manager prior to end of the probationary period.
  • Follow up to ensure that probationary reviews are returned in a timely manner
  • Responsible to communicate to managers when goals are to be entered and drive conformance or escalate where required.
     
    Contractors /Temporary Staff:
  • Liaison with temporary staffing agencies for temporary staffing requirements.
  • Assist Supply Chain with the Contractor Policy and preparation of contractor agreements, statements of work.
  • Co-Manage contractor management process with hiring manager for approvals, training, and records.
     
    Administration:
  • Respond to requests for reference checks and employment verifications.
  • Create and update job descriptions and ensure job descriptions are reviewed periodically.
  • Respond to general employee inquiries.
  • Ensure that all business activities are performed with highest ethical standards and in compliance with the ATS Code of Business Conduct.
  • Adhere to all health and safety rules and procedures.
  • Maintain International Standardization Organization (ISO) standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.
     
    Benefits:

  • Complete monthly billings for all carriers.

    Training:
  • Require processes are followed for any submissions to HR for PTO, FMLA, etc.
  • Maintain all training records electronically.
