Picker Packer

Scientific Products, an ATS Life Sciences Company is searching for a 1st Shift Picker/Packer to join the team! The primary purpose of this position is to pick, pack and ship various products from inventory.



  • Reads and fills customer orders, work orders, shipping orders or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed
  • Assembles and packs customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department.
  • Marks materials with identifying information and maintains shipping records
  • Prepares parcels for mailing.
  • Maintains inventory records.



  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) are preferred. 
  • Basic computer literacy is preferred. 
  • Forklift operating experience is preferred.
  • Must have demonstrated full competence as a Picker Packer I prior to becoming a Picker Packer II. 
  • Previous experience elsewhere may be considered toward qualifying as a Picker Packer II or III.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move from 25 to 50 pounds.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock.

  • The shop contains mobile equipment, machinery, and high voltages.
  • The shop noise level is variable and may require hearing protection in some areas.
  • The shop is heated when required but many areas are not air conditioned.
