Spare Parts Specialist

Job Description

Responsible for driving the spares sales through actively quoting spares, managing open opportunities, spares order entry upon receipt of PO and spares execution management. 

 

Essential Job Duties

  • Interface with customers and internal stakeholders to provide information in response to inquiries about products/services and to handle/fulfill requests.  
  • Lead programs to increase spares sales, on-time delivery and drive improvement in overall customer experience
  • Drive exceptional brand and buying experiences for all customer across multiple service touchpoints - both digital and physical.
  • Help implement and drive KPIs that drive success in spares proposal OTD, capture rate, bookings and OTD at various customer touchpoints that impact the customer experience.
  • Interface with internal buyers to expedite, track and ensure on-time delivery of parts orders.
  • Contact external and internal customers to respond to inquiries or to notify them of updates related to spares proposals and open spares orders.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships 
  • Provide support to Service Technicians, Project Manager and Account Managers to simplify service processes and eliminate bottlenecks.
  • Leverage the CRM (Saleforce), ERP (JDE) and Service Platform (Oracle) and other technologies to maximize the divisional capabilities and resolve customer issues.
  • Maintain data in the CRM system (Salesforce).
  • Support generation of new quotes and order fulfillment to ATS LS CHICAGO standard and approval policies
  • Support Service request ticket management to successful closure
  • Identify customer service issues and work with designated departments to drive to resolution.
  • Drive, support and participate in continuous improvement activities to improve processes, procedures, and the Customer Experience.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Additional Information

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of customer service-related experience. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently, multitask and manage one’s time.
  • Ability to accurately document and record customer/client information
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and data entry software.
  • Experience with CRM software, Salesforce is a plus
