ATS Applicant Data Privacy Notice

Thank you for your interest in ATS Corporation and its affiliates ("ATS"). In order to consider you for possible employment at ATS, we need to collect, process and store certain information about you as part of the recruitment purposes. Some of the information you provide to ATS is considered to be personal data and is protected by data protection laws. ATS takes compliance with data protection very seriously and is committed to complying with all applicable data protection laws.

ATS requires a legal basis to collect, process, use, store and share your personal data and to maintain this information in our global HR system.  Data for the purposes of the employment relationship (including applicant data) are processed in principle on the basis of Section 26 of the German Data Protection Act (BDSG), and in special terms and conditions in Art. 6 f of the GDPR. For other purposes such as admission to the applicant pool, we will obtain a separate consent from you if and when required to do so.

Access to your data is strictly limited to ATS recruitment staff, recruitment and approval managers, as well as relevant employees who have global responsibility for the recruitment process. The data will be passed on to our parent company headquartered in Canada on the basis of standard contractual clauses.  Any person who, within the framework of his or her professional responsibility, has access to your personal data, is required to complete training on data protection laws and is held responsible for the protection of data and complying with the ATS data protection compliance program.

You also have the right to file a complaint with a supervisory authority at any time.

In order to comply with ATS's internal requirements and comply with all applicable laws and regulations, ATS will not retain your application for longer than is needed in accordance with applicable statutory provisions unless you explicitly consent to longer storage of your data.

Employment at ATS may require specific experience or expertise and therefore all applicant profiles and associated data will be stored for a period of 24 (twenty-four) months. In the event an applicant is hired by ATS, we will transfer your data to your personnel file.

If you do not wish ATS to store your data, you may have the opportunity to view, change or request deletion of your application or candidate profile provided there are no legal requirements mandating ATS to maintain your data for a defined period of time.
