Job Description
Key responsibilities
Our ideal technical writer will carry out the following responsibilities on a regular basis:
•Documentation creation. Develop and maintain technical documents, including user manuals, product guides, and API documentation, ensuring they are clear, accurate, and user-friendly.
•Collaboration. Work closely with subject matter experts, such as engineers and developers, to gather and interpret complex technical information.
•Content structuring. Organize and present information in a logical and coherent manner, making it accessible to both technical and non-technical audiences.
•Editing and proofreading. Review and edit content to ensure clarity, consistency, and accuracy, adhering to company style guides and standards.
•User-centered content. Focus on creating content that meets the needs of end-users, making technical information easy to understand and use.
•Tool proficiency. Utilize various documentation tools and platforms to create, manage, and publish content.
Qualifications
We are seeking candidates who have the following qualifications:
•Proven experience as a technical writer or in a similar role.
•Strong understanding of technical concepts and the ability to explain them in simple terms.
•Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail.
•Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including engineers and developers.
•3+ years of experience in technical writing or a related field.
•A degree in technical communication, English, computer science, or a related field is preferred.
Preferred skills
•Experience with IIOT/SCADA/SW Development/Manufacturing Automation.
Long Description
Responsibilities for Health, Safety and Environment include:
•Work in compliance with divisional health, safety, and environmental procedures
•Refrain from removing or altering safety devices or guarding unless hazardous energies are controlled through lockout-tagout methods
•Report any unsafe conditions or unsafe acts
•Report defect in any equipment or protective device
•Ensure that the required protective equipment is used for the assigned tasks
•Attend all required health, safety, and environmental training
•Report any accidents/incidents to supervisor
•Assist in investigating accidents/incidents
•Refrain from engaging in any prank, contest, feat of strength, unnecessary running, or rough and boisterous conduct
