About the Role:

We are looking for a new colleague to join our international team located in the Netherlands and Belgium. In the role of Account Manager, you will be supporting process controls and digitization initiatives across industrial sectors, with a strong focus on Chemicals & Energy. You will work with the latest technologies and tools on key international projects in industrial environments (chemistry, pharmaceuticals, energy, food processing). Your work will have a direct impact, not only in digital space, but also in real-world applications.

How you’ll drive impact:

  • Define and manage strategic relationships with customers.
  • Identify and create business opportunities to support sales initiatives and achieve targets.
  • Collaborate with operations, marketing, and digital solution architects to enhance value selling.
  • Drive adoption of effective business tools and improve sales processes.
  • Work closely with Centers of Excellence (CoEs) to deliver in-depth expertise to customers.
  • Follow all EHS instructions and rules provided by Orise and/or the customer.

 

What you bring:

  • A versatile sales professional understanding, you are able to connect with clients, identify new business opportunities, and drive results
  • At least 5 years of work experience in a relevant field or position with experience in customer relationship management
  • Experience the chemical industry, ideally as a controls or process engineer or similar.
  • Attitude that is independent and actionable
  • A strong technical understanding of the Orise (formerly, Process Automation) portfolio of solutions and services is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A global mindset
  • Ideally you have experience with Advanced Process Controls (APC) or Model-Based Process Control.
  • Ideally, you have worked with tools such as Salesforce or SAP
  • Full professional proficiency in English, with German or Dutch being an advantage
