Senior Project Manager Automation (m/f/d) for Pharma/ Biotech Industry

Tasks and responsibilities

• facilitator role between the automation experts and the project stakeholders within the project organization
• coordination of the project resources, planning, risk management and escalation to Project Engineering Lead
• Identification, alignment with vendor and tracking of resources on project activities, automation architecture, programming, C&Q
• Identification, assessment, documentation and reporting of risks
• Aggregation of project financial information and reporting
• Inform about Automation status with a dashboard, progress, traffic lights, risks and issues.
• In relationship with their role, inform peers, IT, Project Team, etc. about Automation status, progress, traffic lights, risks and issues
• Support all C&Q activities, e.g. I/O check, recipe and program tests

Your profile

• Minimum of 10 years relevant experience in a related process industry such as biotech/pharmaceutical
• At least basic knowledge of MES systems from vendors like Rockwell, Siemens, Emerson, etc.
• Basic knowledge of IT systems (Historian, MES), experience with IT interface 
• Familiar with CSV, GAMP, C&Q knowledge
• Experience with process, utility, HVAC is a plus
• Willingness to travel overseas, as required
• PMP certification is a plus
• Good business development skill and experience
