To strengthen our HR Operations team in Ludwigshafen, we are looking for a motivated HR Specialist Payroll and Administration (m/f/d) who will play a key role in ensuring smooth payroll and administrative processes, while also supporting international assignments and driving HR process improvements.
In this role, you will be a trusted partner for employees and managers alike, combining your expertise in payroll and HR administration with a solution-oriented mindset. You will have the opportunity to work on both operational tasks and exciting projects in the areas of digitalization and process optimization, contributing directly to the continuous development of our HR function.
Your Responsibilities
- Advising employees in your area of responsibility on HR topics, particularly in the area of payroll and administration
- Providing comprehensive support to managers on human resources and labor law issues
- Supporting and preparing national and international payroll processes
- Independently drafting contracts, employment references, and certificates
- Participating in and coordinating the secondment of employees
- Supporting various projects related to further development, digitization, and process optimization in the HR department
- Conducting and facilitating performance reviews, resolving conflicts, and implementing measures under labor law
- Collaborating with employee representatives and external partners, such as legal advisors or staffing agencies
- Compiling statistics, lists, and analyses, as well as maintaining master data
- Monitoring, maintaining, and optimizing HR processes and policies
Your Profile
- 3 + years experience working as a HR Specialist
- Successful completion of a commercial vocational training program or continuing education as a human resources specialist, or a successfully completed degree in business administration, human resources management, business psychology, or a comparable qualification
- Strong consulting and communication skills, as well as the ability to interact confidently at all organizational levels
- Experience working in international matrix organizations is a plus
- Very good knowledge of modern HR tools and HR systems
- Experience in payroll preparation, ideally also in an international context
- High level of initiative, reliability, and a solution-oriented approach
- Experience in managing change and transformation processes
- Ability to work independently and responsibly
- C1-level proficiency in German and English
