Software Engineer PCS7 Specialist
Who we are:
We are a leading European provider of industrial automation solutions and manufacturing information systems, specializing in the automation of machinery, production, and robotic lines. We provide our customers with comprehensive solutions from consulting and design to implementation, including managing subcontractors. We are expanding our team in process control and digitalization for the Chemicals & Energy sector and are looking for an experienced Software Engineer PCS7 Specialist to join us.
Why You Should Join Us:
You’ll be working with the latest technologies in industrial automation on key projects across chemicals, pharmaceuticals, energy, and food sectors at an international level, mainly focusing on the European market. Due to frequent travel across Europe, it is necessary to be physically present in the EU and have unrestricted access to the EU labor market. You'll transform designs from the digital world into tangible results, witnessing how your work powers real industrial processes.
We support continuous learning and creativity, so you’ll have the opportunity to bring your ideas to the table, try new methods, and contribute to advancing our team’s expertise. We also offer the chance to travel internationally, broadening your horizons and improving your language skills. When you’re not working with a client, you'll have the flexibility to work remotely and plan your hours according to your needs.
Your Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing application software for industrial control systems, specifically using Siemens PCS7.
- Commissioning and implementing control systems at client sites across Europe (up to 50% of your time).
- Creating detailed project documentation and maintaining a high standard of technical accuracy.
Ideal Profile:
- You’re passionate about industrial programming and see yourself developing these skills long-term.
- You’re excited by the prospect of learning new technologies and methodologies—striving for continuous improvement in both individual and team settings.
- You have a team-oriented approach, with strong communication skills that help drive effective collaboration.
- You possess a technical education in electrical engineering or automation technology—ideally a university degree, though a high school technical diploma is also acceptable.
- You have proficiency in English, allowing you to effectively communicate with international clients and team members.
- You’re willing to travel up to 50% of your working time, mostly across Europe, to support on-site activities.
- You’re experienced with Siemens PCS7 programming—this is a key requirement.
- You have a solid understanding of electrical systems, instrumentation, safety elements, and industrial communication protocols.
- You hold a Category B driver's license and are an active driver.
What We Offer:
- Competitive salary based on experience
- Full-time contract with 5 weeks of vacation for unlimited period of time
- Opportunities for professional growth and training
- Friendly and supportive work environment in a global company
- Flexible working hours and the chance to work on international projects
- Meal vouchers (150 CZK/day), Pluxee gift vouchers, and contributions to Multisport card, language courses, life insurance, or pension plans
- Extra perks: office refreshments, free parking, company car for private use based on our policy, team events, and more
