Human Resources Coordinator
Job Description
Duties:
Responsible for supporting both departmental and organizational initiatives as applicable. The role requires excellent critical thinking skills, a focus towards continuous improvement, and must be outcome oriented. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail, building interpersonal relationships, and problem solving is essential. The wearing of multiple hats to solve problems is essential to long term success.
Responsibilities:
Support HR and Health & Safety administrative functions
Conduct New Hire Orientation program with New Hires both virtually and in-person
Manage the relationship with the contractor vendors and all stakeholders as required, approve invoices for HR/HSE activities
Ensure high value solutions meet customer expectations (staff members)
Adherence to PA/ATS processes, documentation requirements, reporting, etc.
Transparency in all facets of project execution
Lead with a “can do” attitude and foster the same throughout the project
Understand project risks and manage accordingly
Leverage Sr. Management for problem solving and guidance as necessary
Create a high-performance culture by setting high expectations to ensure the highest performance standards
Ensure that all activities are performed with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with the ATS Code of Business Conduct
Performing project work in real time and at the location of execution as required
Support engagement events with team members
Other duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
BS in Human Resources, Psychology, or related field
One to two years of HR related experience preferably within the automotive, off-highway, or aerospace verticals
Ability to influence a multi-disciplinary team in an intentional, focused, respectful, and highly engaged manner.
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications with emphasis on Excel
Responsibilities for Health, Safety and Environment include:
Work in compliance with divisional health, safety and environmental procedures
Refrain from removing or altering safety devices or guarding unless hazardous energies are controlled through lockout-tagout methods
Report any unsafe conditions or unsafe acts
Report defect in any equipment or protective device
Ensure that the required protective equipment is used for the assigned tasks
Attend all required health, safety, and environmental training
Report any accidents/incidents to supervisor
Assist in investigating accidents/incidents
Refrain from engaging in any prank, contest, feat of strength, unnecessary running, or rough and boisterous conduct
