Accounts Executive
Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join our Finance team in Bangalore. This role is responsible for accounting and financial reporting of ATS’s India-based operations (Global Advancement Centre and IWK India), ensuring compliance with local regulatory and tax requirements. The role also supports Shared Services with accounts payable and receivable functions.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Professional accounting designation (completed or in progress) or equivalent experience.
- 3–5 years of general accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or sales environment.
- Strong skills in financial reporting, analysis, and compliance.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); exposure to JD Edwards, Tungsten, BlackLine, or OneStream is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage month-end close activities, including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger, balance sheet, and income statement schedules.
- Oversee accounts receivable: statements, invoices, collections, and customer queries.
- Handle accounts payable: validate invoices, resolve vendor issues, reconcile ledgers.
- Support local tax and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Contribute to inventory management and payroll activities.
- Collaborate with purchasing and sales teams for financial alignment.
- Ensure compliance with SOX regulations and internal controls.
- Assist in internal and external audits.
- Provide ad hoc financial analysis and support for special projects.
- Uphold ATS’s Code of Business Conduct and health & safety standards.
