JDE CNC Administrator
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced JD Edwards CNC Administrator with MS SQL DBA expertise to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have led at least three full-cycle JD Edwards (JDE) implementations, migrations, or upgrades, and possess a minimum of 10 years of experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (versions 9.0, 9.1, and 9.2).
This role will be responsible for managing and maintaining JD Edwards environments, performing upgrades, troubleshooting, and ensuring high system performance and security. You will also play a critical role in managing the underlying MS SQL database infrastructure and supporting cloud migration initiatives.
Experience

10+ years of experience in JD Edwards CNC Administration (EnterpriseOne 9.0, 9.1, 9.2).

Minimum of 3 full-cycle JDE implementations, migrations, or upgrades.

Proven experience in installation, configuration, and upgrading of EnterpriseOne environments.

Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server and SQL-based performance tuning.

Knowledge of JD Edwards security features, including user and role management.

Experience managing job queues, path codes, data sources, and client (web/fat) configurations.

Familiarity with compliance standards such as SOX and GDPR.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities

Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain JD Edwards EnterpriseOne environments, including deployment and enterprise servers.

Provide CNC technical support for issue resolution, performance tuning, job queue management, and environment monitoring.

Manage MS SQL Server databases, including backup/recovery, performance tuning, access control, and database integrity.

Install and manage JDE Tools Releases, ESUs, ASUs, Service Packs, and other updates.

Support cloud migration projects to AWS, Azure, or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

Implement and manage JDE security policies, including role-based access, object security, and compliance standards (SOX, GDPR).

Perform system administration tasks such as job queue configuration, printer setup, data source mapping, and path code management.

Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and business teams for cross-functional issue resolution.

Automate administrative tasks using shell scripting or similar tools.

Support database upgrade and patching activities; ensure smooth data migrations and system stability.

Monitor database and system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize processes for efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- Experience with cloud-based JDE administration and migrations (AWS, Azure, OCI).
- Proficiency in JDE XE 9.X CNC installation/configuration, including JASHTML Server Manager.
- Experience with JDE upgrade activities: tools releases, application upgrades, surface testing, etc.
- Microsoft SQL DBA certification is a plus.
- Working knowledge of JDE modules, data structures, and core business processes.
- Experience with automation and scripting tools for database and CNC tasks.
