Senior Network Security Engineer
Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Security Engineer who will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the security of our network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with Palo Alto, Zscaler, and Cisco solutions, along with a deep understanding of network security best practices.
Qualification and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience working as a Network Security Administrator.
- Expertise in Palo Alto Networks firewall administration, including configuration, troubleshooting, and policy management.
- Proficiency in Zscaler cloud security platform, including web filtering, SSL inspection, and threat protection.
- Strong understanding of Cisco networking technologies, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Certifications such as Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Administrator (PCNSA), Palo Alto Networks.
- Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE), and Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) are highly desirable.
- Experience with other security tools and technologies, such as IDS/IPS, SIEM, and endpoint security solutions, is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex network security issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain network security solutions using Palo Alto, Zscaler, and Cisco technologies.
- Monitor network traffic for security breaches and promptly respond to any incidents.
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify and address potential threats.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate security measures into existing infrastructure and applications.
- Develop and implement security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Stay up to date with the latest security trends and technologies and make recommendations for improvements to the network security posture.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior members of the IT team.
- Participate in the planning and execution of disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Cisco networking devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls, to ensure the security and integrity of our network infrastructure.
- Implement and maintain security policies, access controls, and encryption protocols to protect against unauthorized access and data breaches.
- Monitor network traffic and security alerts generated by Cisco security appliances to identify and respond to potential security threats in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate Cisco, Palo Alto and Zscaler security solutions into existing infrastructure and applications
