Job Title: Test Automation Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Test Automation Engineer to design, develop, and implement automated testing solutions for our product offerings. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in test automation frameworks, scripting languages, and have hands-on experience with Ranorex. Additionally, experience in API testing, manual testing, and UI testing is required.

What you will do:

1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand testing requirements and develop comprehensive test plans for both new and existing features.

2. Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools, with a preference for expertise in Ranorex.

3. Conduct API testing to ensure the integrity and functionality of backend systems.

4. Perform manual testing as needed to validate software functionality and identify potential issues.

5. Design, develop, and conduct Unit, Integration, System, Acceptance, Regression, Functional tests in an automated or manual manner.

6. Execute UI testing to validate the user experience and ensure consistent design standards.

7. Analyze automated test results to identify defects, track and report testing status, and ensure the overall quality of our products.

8. Work closely with developers, product managers, and quality assurance teams to understand system architecture, design, and functionality for effective test planning and execution.

9. Participate in the identification and implementation of automation best practices and improvements to enhance overall testing efficiency.

10. Conduct root cause analysis of issues found during testing and collaborate with the development team to ensure timely resolution.

11. Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in test automation methodologies to continuously improve testing processes.

What you will Need:

Must Haves:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

2. Proven experience ( 3 to 6 yrs ) as Test Automation Engineer with a focus on automated testing of desktop applications, web application, and APIs.

3. Strong programming and scripting skills; proficiency in languages such as Java, C# .NET.

4. Hands-on experience with Ranorex is highly preferred.

5. Experience with API testing tools and frameworks (Selenium, POSTMAN, etc.)

6. Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins

Good to Have :

1. Proficiency using defect management software like JIRA

2. Proficiency in manual testing methodologies and practices.

3. Experience in UI testing for web and/or mobile applications.

4. Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.

5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

6. Effective communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

7. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with minimal supervision.
