Production Training Facilitator

 

Job Description

MAJOR DUTIES:
The Production Training Facilitator will create and update learning materials to support the goals and priorities of REM Production under the direction of the Director of Operations. The Production Training Facilitator assess the needs, designs, develops and evaluates training solutions for manufacturing by collaborating directly with leadership, subject matter experts, Engineering, Quality, and Human Resources.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

•    Develop, manage, and implement a training program for production operations and supports new hire orientation training
•    Build partnership with key stakeholders, including Production Leaders within the organization to drive effectiveness of training interactions
•    Identify opportunities to improve the training process to improve quality and capability.
•    Provides support where required to audit learnings on the job and identify improvements or additional training requirement.
-    Create and manage on-the-job observation schedule to ensure effectiveness of training program.
•    Provides support and coaching for Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to enrich program delivery
•    Manage the Production staff Training matrix including monthly KPI report out
•    Adhere to and promote the adherence to all Corporate, Quality and Health and Safety policies and procedures
•    Perform other duties as required

 

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
University degree or College diploma in Instructional Design/Development or related field

Experience:
•    Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in technical training, coaching or advisory roles
•    Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred
•    Experience supporting new product development launches and experience developing and supporting training modules
•    Demonstrated knowledge of training principles, general practices, policies and procedures
•    Strong writing and editing skills
•    Attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
•    Excellent organizational, project management and prioritization skills 
•    High motivation, creativity, passion, resilience and pro-active approach
•    Impeccable ethical standards and integrity, objectivity, confidence and dedication
•    Can work independently with minimal supervision
•    Excellent written, verbal and communication skills
•    Expert in utilizing MS Office Suite skills: Microsoft Word, PowerPoint & Excel
