Sales Development Specialist

ATS’ Global Services team is a dynamic, change-leading team that drives the delivery of value-driven Services to our customers worldwide. Services is a growing component of the overall delivery of value to ATS’ customers globally and offers an opportunity for an opportunistic individual to create a well-defined offer structure of high-value service solutions to drive ongoing value.

The Lead Generation Specialist will focus on building pipelines and for our ATS Global Service Regional businesses.  As a highly successful customer advocate and business developer, this resource will coordinate both internal and customer resources, in exceeding their customer’s expectations and ensuring they are supported by our life cycle support strategy. This position requires a candidate with a strong technical background, project management experience, customer relationship development skills and has the character to influence.

That’s why we’re seeking a qualified Sales Development Leader to find and screen high-potential customers who could benefit from our market-leading services. As the first line of communication with a prospect, the ideal Sales Development Leader has a strong understanding of the sales process and excels at researching leads, starting new relationships, and setting up Regional Business Development Leaders, Key Account Service Leaders, and Capex Account Managers for success. The Sales Development Leader should be a quick learner who has strong communication skills and an ability to showcase our offerings in a compelling way. Every potential customer has an opportunity to boost top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels, and profitability.

 

Responsibilities

  1. Inbound & Outbound Lead Generation: Execute compelling outreach campaigns to increase awareness of ATS services through cold and warm outreach, triggered workflow using current and effective methods of:
    1. Targeted email marketing
    2. Proactive cold-calling campaigns
    3. Social media outreach, promotions, targeted advertising
    4. Content creation and distribution
  2. Lead Generation and Qualification: Qualify, and nurture potential leads through the sales funnel for a streamlined transition to our sales teams.
  3. Market Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends, customer insights, and competitor tactics, adapting strategies accordingly.
  4. Inter-Company Collaboration: Work in tandem with ATS divisional and regional sales, marketing, and product teams to execute campaigns and refine outbound strategies based on feedback and insights gathered during outreach activities.
  5. Trade Show Engagement: Execute trade show-related communications from pre-event outreach to post-event follow-ups.
  6. CRM Management: Log, manage, and update lead and prospect information within the company's CRM system(s) to ensure seamless communication and follow-up.
  7. Performance Analytics: Monitor, analyze, and report on essential KPIs, adjusting campaigns as needed to realize sales and revenue targets.
  8. Sales Collateral Creation: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop compelling outbound sales materials, such as one-pagers, brochures, and pitch decks tailored to the target audience.

 

The role will be expected to regularly attend sales and product training for ATS Global Services as well as workshops or seminars to hone outbound sales techniques and stay updated with industry best practices.

 

Travel: 10-20%, domestic and international (onsite training, strategy planning, and trade shows)

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree a plus
  • Experience in SDM or SDR-related sales, marketing, and promotion activities within B2B technology, or ideally industrial automation, or food and beverage sectors.
  • Strong understanding of lead generation and qualification processes.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance metrics and translate them into actionable strategies.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, email marketing software, and analytics platforms.
  • Stellar communication, persuasion, and networking skills.
  • Demonstrable track record in exceeding outbound sales and performance metrics.
  • Results-driven, proactive, and innovative mindset.
