Scope Coordinator

Major Duties

 

  • The Scope Coordinator will act as single point of contact for all JIRA within the applicable segment and/or ATS equipment, working closely with the customer.
  • The Scope Coordinator will also maintain, track and drive engineering changes based on the ATS change management processes. 

Specific Responsibilities

  • Receive Request for Changes (RFC), work with Applications to create Change Order Request for the customer, COR approval process, receipt of the PO and implementation of the changes.  
  • Schedule and conduct tracking meetings for milestones with the appropriate ATS and Customer (Single Point Of Contact) SPOCs. 
  • Prepare and distribute the meeting minutes and meeting documents to meeting attendees
  • Manage and maintain the electronic and paper files to support compliance of internal audit/corporate governance requirements, to ensure traceability and objective evidence to implement all engineering changes across various customer sites. 
  • Responsible for the completion of the COR process from receipt of Request for Change (RFC) submission of COR, accurate data in Salesforce, receipt of PO.
  • Create and track the progress of approved JIRA tickets through engineering change control process to ensure implementation on all the applicable equipment. 
  • Champion the adoption, use, continuous improvement and management of the JIRA tool and engineering change control process including collaborating standardization across ATS Segments
  • Collaborate with JIRA administrator to perform system administrative tasks (workflows, permission sets, new field creation, page layouts, etc) within JIRA to support ease of user adoption and accurate reporting measurements and analysis, and to integrate new ATS business units into JIRA.
  • Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports out of JIRA for distribution to various groups, and ad hoc reports as requested on a regular basis
  • Ensure that all business activities are performed with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with the ATS Code of Business Conduct and Corporate Approval Policies.
  • Adhere to all health and safety rules and procedures. 
  • Act as single point of contact for all JIRA tasks within the applicable segment and/or ATS equipment. Working closely with internal ATS teams and the customer. 
     

Qualifications

 

Education:

  • A post-secondary diploma or degree complimented for technical scope, business management and/or project management experience.

 
Experience:

 

  • 2+ years of work experience, preferably with direct experience in technical projects.  
  • Experience using JIRA along with a background in technical projects is preferred
  • Exceptional organizational and scheduling skills.  
  • In addition, have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), Business practices and policies, and tracking tools. 
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and an ability to communicate with people at all levels with the organization.  
  • An ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be flexible when challenges arise is also important.
