ROLE SUMMARY:
The Commercial Group Lead is a hands-on executive responsible for building, aligning, and optimizing sales and commercial enablement functions across a group of decentralized businesses. This role will own development, standardization, training and deployment of process and governance for sales and key accounts, funnel conversion, pricing and operations, leveraging continuous improvement and best practices.
RESPONSIBILITIES | OUTCOMES:
- Group Sales Strategy: Develop and lead group-wide sales strategies that unify direction, messaging, and engagement across all companies.
- Synergy Across Divisions: Drive cross-division synergy incentive programs, increasing bookings and bi-lateral revenue, and fostering participation across companies and sales teams.
- Commercial Playbook Deployment: Standardize best practices and tools across business units to drive bookings, reduce sales cycle time, and improve conversion rates.
- Key Account Management: Build differentiated tiers for strategic global key accounts, driving growth, retention, and cross-selling opportunities.
- Sales Training & Development: Design and deliver sales training programs, standardizing modules on consultative selling, CRM utilization, and customer engagement.
- Digital Innovation: Oversee modernization of commercial systems, implement shared digital strategies, and drive innovation initiatives including e-commerce and IoT integration.
- Communication & Collaboration: Champion a culture of cooperation and shared success, launching newsletters, knowledge hubs, and organizing cross-company workshops.
- Brand Governance & Events: Oversee brand positioning, identity, and messaging, and lead trade show strategy and participation.
- Performance Measurement: Track KPIs for market penetration, synergy execution, digital adoption, sales performance, and regional revenue growth.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Requires a minimum of 10 years’ experience in a management position leading people operations teams in a fast paced high-growth organization.
- Proven experience in commercial leadership roles and continuous improvement, preferably within decentralized or multi-business group environments.
- Strong foundation in sales leadership and digital transformation.
- Demonstrated success in driving cross-division synergies, regional expansion, and key account management.
- Expertise in CRM systems, sales enablement tools, digital platforms, and analytics.
- Track record of designing and implementing training programs and commercial playbooks.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field; advanced degree preferred.
