Controls Technical Lead Engineer
Job Description
BASIC FUNCTIONS:
Assist the Controls Engineering Supervisor and Controls Project Engineer with technical guidance of a team of controls engineers to mentor and provide project related technical direction. Adhere to all established procedures as defined by ATS Quality Procedures, Process Flows, Work Instructions, Safety Procedures, and the Employee Handbook.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct project team kickoff meetings.
- Assist Controls Project Engineer with creation of engineering tracking.
- Maintain Functional Specification Document and project SharePoint.
- Participate in weekly team engineering tracking updates.
- Review team designs.
- Ensure continuity with team designs.
EDUCATION: A BS degree specializing in technology, engineering or equivalent
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 5 years of controls design experience is preferred. Must be task-driven, detail oriented individual, with the ability to work additional hours as needed. Critical thinking skills are a must. Must have ability to work with and communicate effectively at all levels within the company and with senior client officials.
