Payroll Administrator

BASIC FUNCTIONS:

 

The Payroll Administrator is responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of the biweekly payrolls and all related reporting.

This is a remote/hybrid role.

 

Specific responsibilities include:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Coordinates efforts between the payroll department and other departments such as Human Resources, Finance, and Benefits to ensure accurate employee data.
  • Maintains records of employee wage orders and employee wage verifications.
  • Load employee change files into ADP weekly.
  • Review and load Time Files into ADP weekly. 
  • Ensure timely process of the Bi-weekly payroll in accordance with state and federal regulations.  
  • Review and balance payroll before submitting to divisions approval.   
  • Bi-weekly download payroll reports and save in the appropriate folders and send to division controller/finance analyst for processing. 
  • Quarterly download the quarterly reports and the Statements of Deposits
  • Setup new taxing jurisdiction based on state/local requirements.
  • Ensures maximum compliance with local, state, and federal taxing laws and regulations.
  • Assist Internal/External Auditors with quarterly audits to ensure compliance
  • Preform quarterly tax audits 
  • Ensures prompt update of ADP for accurate payroll processing and administration
  • Prepare Federal/state required reporting
  • Prepare monthly bill back reports for Corporate Executives
  • Employee access administrator for ADP
     

EDUCATION:


Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, or equivalent work experience.

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • Working knowledge of PC based Microsoft applications for business and ADP software experience is preferred.
  • Must have ability to work with and communicate effectively with people at all levels of the organization
  • Strong ability to maintain confidentiality in the course of work
  • Ability to always exercise discretion
  • Must possess strong organizational skills
  • Strong ability to pay attention to detail and perform tasks accurately
  • Ability to work under intense pressure
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and also meet deadlines
