Paxiom Group offers a wide range of primary and secondary packaging technologies, servicing industries that range from food, nutraceuticals, pharmaceuticals, industrial, and cannabis. Paxiom’s Sale and Service operation is located in Las Vegas, NV, with its primary manufacturing sites in Montreal (WeighPack Systems); Miami, FL (EndFlex); and Shanghai, China (Kang-Di).
Packaging solutions include Vertical and Horizontal Form Fill Seal, Pre-made pouch bagging, flow wrapping, cartoning, and bag-in-box solutions. Their filling technology includes auger powder filling, weigh filling for solids, multi-point depositors, and pre-roll automation for cannabis. Additionally, they offer a number of integrated and robotic solutions for customers in the packaging space.
THE POSITION
As President you are responsible to meet and exceed growth & profitability targets for the Paxiom Group products and develop next-generation strategy. Drive and deliver growth across the Paxiom business through full P&L responsibility of the group of businesses.
- Drive business objective achievement through effective cross-functional and regional relationship building and effective.
- Prioritization of business objectives.
- Develop marketplace opportunities, lead sales pursuits, oversee internal processes, and provide employee leadership in the achievement of common goals.
- Design and implement a strong strategic plan growing the bottom-line profit growth and increasing customer base.
- Be a change agent for culture and mind-set within the business in line with strategic plan for the future.
- Ensure a safe and engaged workforce and customer satisfaction, in collaboration with regional managers, peers, employees and cross-functional teams.
- As a direct-report to the President, ATS Packaging and Food Technologies, participate in leadership and strategic discussions across the group.
- Provide a structure for growth through M&A and internal reorganization to add OEM’s within the Packaging space to the Paxiom Group of Companies, with minimal overhead addition (ie, ability to leverage resources and talents existing in the business).
- Travel expected (Sites, Customers, Tradeshows, etc.) at least 25%.
EXPERIENCE
- Extensive experience in capital equipment or automated systems
- Experienced with Engineered-to-Order work
- Deep experience and understanding in both the Operations and Commercial side of business
- Global leadership experience with cross-cultural experience.
- A balance of strong strategy and execution capability
- Ability to architect and lead a balanced portfolio of offerings
- History of P&L ownership with consistent profitable growth
- Thrive in a lean, decentralized organizational structure.
- Skilled at moving with agility and resilience around obstacles/setbacks
- Proven business acumen and savvy
- Highly effective communicator with exceptional relationship and stakeholder management

- An advanced degree and/or MBA is desirable
