À propos du poste :

Travaillant sous la direction du responsable de la conception mécanique, votre équipe est composée de plusieurs concepteurs mécaniques. L'équipe mécanique est responsable de notre catalogue de produits.

Cela inclut le maintien de notre gamme de produits, ainsi que le développement continu de notre machine. Ce groupe est responsable de gérer et de résoudre tous les ECR ainsi que de travailler en étroite collaboration avec le groupe de gestion de produit pour élaborer la feuille de route de notre produit. Cela inclut une nouvelle révision de la machine, une nouvelle génération de machines, le développement de nouvelles options et bien plus encore. Le leader sera également invité à collaborer avec l'équipe de contrôle.

Nous recherchons un concepteur mécanique expérimenté, capable de superviser un groupe de concepteurs tout en influençant la qualité de la conception  

Résultats de ce rôle :

1. Planification et délégation du travail à l'équipe en collaboration avec le gestionnaire de produit
2. Collaborer avec le gestionnaire de produit et le gestionnaire de l'ingénierie pour définir notre feuille de route produit et notre plan de projet
3. Guider les designers tout au long de leurs projets en examinant et en approuvant le design et en s'assurant que la qualité est conforme aux normes;
4. Travailler avec d'autres départements et l'équipe d'ingénierie pour livrer le meilleur produit possible
5. Aidez à bâtir et définir notre catalogue de produits grâce à notre approche modulaire de la conception de machines
6. Fournir un soutien proactif, rapide et précis à l'équipe en préparant divers documents, rapports, suivi des indicateurs clés de performance, etc.

À la recherche de :

1. Diplôme collégial dans un domaine pertinent
2. Le baccalauréat en génie mécanique est un atout
3. Une expérience en tant que concepteur mécanique est requise
4. L'expérience en conception de machines est un atout
5. L'expérience en leadership est un atout
6. La connaissance de l'ERP (Syspro) / Base de données, AutoCad, SolidWorks, CAD Talk et ePDM est un atout
7. Solide connaissance du costume MS Office
8. Être fonctionnel en français et en anglais est requis

About the position:

Working under the Mechanical Design Lead, your team consist of multiple mechanical designers. The mechanical team is responsible of our product catalogue.

This includes the sustaining of our product line, as well as the continuous development of our machine. This group is responsible to manage and solve all ECR as well as work closely with the Product Management group to work on the roadmap for our product. This includes new revision of machine, new generation of machine, new options development and many more. The leader will be asked to collaborate with the controls team as well.

We are looking for an experience mechanical designer with leadership ability that can supervise a group of designers while influencing the quality of the design.

Job Responsibilities:

• Planning and delegating the work for the team in collaboration with the Product Manager
• Collaborate with the Product Manager & Engineering Manager to define our product roadmap and project plan
• Guiding designers through their projects by reviewing and approving the design and making sure the quality is up to standard;
• Working with other departments & the engineering team to deliver the best product possible
• Help build and define our product catalogue with our modular approach to machine design
• Provide proactive, timely and accurate support to the team in the form of preparing various documents, reports, track KPI’s etc.

Qualifications:

• College Diploma in relevant field
• Bachelors Mechanical Engineering is an asset
• Experience as a mechanical designer is required
• Machine design experience is an asset
• Leadership experience is an asset
• Knowledge of ERP (Syspro) / Database, AutoCad, SolidWorks, CAD Talk, and ePDM is an asset
• Strong knowledge of MS Office Suit
• Being functional in French and English is required
