Job Description

Seeking a full time Business Intelligence Specialist  for a rapidly growing company in the medical and pharmaceutical industry. This role will be under direction from the ABM Director, will collect data on processes that contribute to the ‘cost of quality’, defect identification, rework data, process non-conformances, process improvement opportunities, waste identification, and other Quality/CI data sets that help drive the program.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Establish patterns and trends with the process non-conformances raised by the staff to drive improvement opportunities (NCR Program).
  • Coordinate the data collection for the quality department on focus areas, such as: assembly rework, inspection rejections, engineering design issues, missing parts, warranty, non-conformances, redlines (engineering design changes), etc…
  • Work with Quality Engineer on special projects on process enhancements.
  • Support and improve upon quality policies, practices, and procedures.
  • Support ever-improving results by leveraging ATS Business Model (ABM) tools in a hands-on environment to help use data to find new opportunities for the company. 
  • Work with the Continuous Improvement department on data collection for Kaizen Events and Problem-Solving Events.
  • Assist functional teams at the site/division to define and collect Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and the 8 Value Drivers to help the company continuously improve.
  • Collect and trend Daily Visual Management (DVM) data to help support and create change opportunities for the continuous improvement project funnel.
  • Prepare reports and charts to convey the status of these activities.
Qualifications

 

Skills and Knowledge:

 

  • Have background on data analytics or similar function
  • Familiar with Data from ERP systems (SAP or JDE)
  • Familiar with SQL Systems / databases
  • Preferred experience with Sharepoint and JIRA Programs
  • Preferred experience with ISO 9001& ISO 13485
  • Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively with people at all levels of the organization, both verbally and in written form 
  • Proficient in Windows, Excel, Word, MS Outlook, Adobe, etc. 
  • Must be hands-on and must be able to meet deadlines for his or her responsibilities either directly or indirectly.
  • Work Experience 1 to 5 years
