The Project Management team is central to this mission, ensuring seamless execution from concept through completion

 

 

The Position

 

 

Our projects operate within tight schedules and budgets and demand close coordination across multiple departments. A successful Project Manager at NCC is a strategic leader, a clear communicator, and a proactive problem solver—able to align teams and resources to deliver:

  • The right solution (meeting all project scope requirements)
  • On-time delivery (within schedule constraints)
  • Financial success (achieving project budget goals)

The Project Manager is the owner of all assigned projects, driving success from planning through close-out while upholding NCC’s standards for quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

 

Leadership & Execution

  • Implement and uphold standard project management processes that ensure consistent, predictable outcomes.
  • Lead cross-functional teams, including Sales, Engineering, Procurement, Production/Assembly, and Site Services, fostering collaboration and accountability.
  • Serve as the primary customer contact, managing expectations, building trust, and ensuring clear, proactive communication.
  • Act as the central hub for all project communications within NCC, ensuring alignment across departments.

 

Planning & Delivery

  • Develop comprehensive project plans covering scope, schedule, budget, and quality metrics.
  • Coordinate closely with Site Services to ensure all on-site activities are well-prepared, with minimal surprises or disruptions.
  • Anticipate, identify, and mitigate risks to maintain project momentum and avoid costly delays.
  • Ensure procurement, subcontractor, and vendor activities align with project requirements and timelines.

 

Performance & Reporting

  • Track, update, and communicate project metrics and dashboards, providing NCC leadership with actionable data for decision-making.
  • Manage project documentation, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for all stakeholders.
  • Close out projects systematically, ensuring all deliverables, documentation, and lessons learned are captured.

  • Scope Management – Define, maintain, and control project deliverables.
  • Schedule Adherence – Drive timely completion through effective planning and monitoring.
  • Budget Control – Manage financial performance to meet or exceed margin goals.
  • Quality Assurance – Ensure deliverables meet NCC’s standards and customer expectations.
  • Stakeholder Communication – Keep all parties informed, engaged, and aligned.
  • Risk Management – Identify and address potential issues before they escalate.
  • Team Leadership – Inspire, support, and guide project teams toward shared goals.

 

Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing complex, multi-department projects—preferably in automation, manufacturing, or food processing/packaging industries.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and align cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (PMP certification a plus).
  • Ability to travel as needed for customer meetings and site services coordination.
