Position Title: Executive Assistant, Strategy & Corporate Development
Reports To: SVP Strategy & Corporate Development
Department: Corporate
Location:  Cambridge, Ontario or Charlotte, North Carolina


Our Strategy & Corporate Development team is looking for an Executive Assistant to join the team in Cambridge, or North Carolina, to provide administrative support and proactively drive the efficient and organized running of the department in a disciplined fashion. The successful incumbent will directly support and report to the Senior Vice President Strategy & Corporate Development.


Role Profile:
The successful candidate is highly self-motivated, structured and process oriented, capable of taking initiative while prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment, while exhibiting a high level of confidentiality and independent judgement.


Experience in calendar management and scheduling complex travel involving multiple time zones, is required. The incumbent will have great attention to detail and a passion for ensuring accuracy in their work, while fostering positive and effective relationships across the organization and with external parties. 



  • General administrative support, including but not limited to managing calendars and Contacts in Outlook, screening calls, managing appointments, preparation of PowerPoint presentations, preparing and submitting expense reports, courier and booking meeting rooms, etc.
  • Coordinate all local and international travel logistics for the SVP, including transportation, hotels etc. Ensure coordination with other Executive Assistants.
  • Office management including the administration of supplies and timely processing of invoices and expense reports.
  • Other projects/duties as assigned for the overall benefit of the department and organization.
  • Ensure that all business activities are performed with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with the ATS Code of Business Conduct.


  • Ability to travel occasionally if necessary.
  • Flexibility to occasionally work outside of normal business hours.




Post-secondary education in administration or business.


Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years related experience in an administrative support role. 
  • Previous experience working in an M&A and/or strategy environment is a big plus.
  • High level of confidentiality and discretion, especially when dealing with proprietary or sensitive information. 
  • Technologically savvy and proficient with all programs of MS Office suite, skilled in preparing presentations using PowerPoint and an aptitude to learn new software and programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and take the lead providing suggestions and problem-solving solutions to keep the team reporting out in a disciplined fashion.
  • Must have an ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels within and outside of the organization, both orally and in writing.  
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision in a dynamic team environment is expected.  
  • Must demonstrate initiative and innovation, be hands-on, able to meet deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks with excellent attention to detail.
  • Diplomacy and ability to adapt to changing needs of the organization is highly desired.
