Senior Manager, FP&A

ATS Scientific Products is searching for a Senior Manager, FP&A to join the team!

 

ATS-Scientific Products is a leading manufacturer of state-of-the-art pharmaceutical equipment committed to delivering high-quality solutions for the healthcare industry. With a reputation for innovation and excellence, we are seeking an experienced  Senior Manager, FP&A  to join our dynamic team.

 

Under the direction of the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis, this position performs a variety of tasks to support the financial and strategic needs of Scientific Products. This position is responsible for supporting organizational budgeting, forecasting, sales analysis and capital planning. Concurrently, it ensures consistency with the business strategy and alignment across projects, as well as customer satisfaction and results.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Finance business partner for US Scientific, Labware and Glassware and global functional departments (HR, Supply Chain, Finance etc.)
  • Work with FP&A Director in driving the global Scientific Products Annual Operating Planning Process.
  • Collaborate with all US business units to present a unified consolidated monthly forecast.
  • Lead the weekly global bookings and revenue forecasting call followed by distribution of the updates, risks and opportunities to leadership.
  • Develop a robust global headcount process, ensuring alignment with businesses and HR on current, new, open and pending positions supporting accurate forecasting and budgeting.
  • Partner with cross-functional leads on monthly forecasts, identifying risks and opportunities. 
  • Establish forward looking analysis focusing on forecasting accuracy.
  • Provide monthly and quarterly forecast/budget variance analysis including insights and communication of results.
  • Examine and challenge product line bookings, including revenue and margin versus projections.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Develop valuable Onestream models for delivering financial forecasts to Corporate.
  • Assist in developing and training less experienced staff.
  • Ensure accurate revenue recognition practices are followed in forecasting across al revenue streams including percentage completion, service contract revenue and monthly close cut offs. 
  • Revenue monthly Global Town Hall call presentation materials.
  • Lead on-going FP&A process improvements
  • Collaborate with team members to develop standard and effective reporting tools for use by management. 

Experience / Qualifications

To perform this job successful, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:

  • Working understanding of General and Financial Accounts concepts required.
  • Financial analysis and accounting experience is required.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills are required and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Word Powerpoint and Outlook.
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems and Hyperion/Catalyst software knowledge is a plus.
  • Explore 'out of the box' recommendations in problem solving.
  • Strong focus on accuracy and detail.
  • Ability to identify a problem, analyze the circumstances and propose and implement solutions.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong organization and time management skills in managing multiple competing priorities.
  • High level of integrity and accountability.
  • Ability to effectively work with and communicate with all levels of the organization.

 

Education:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting and/or Finance is required
  • MBA and/or CPA is a strong plus.

  • Provide information, instruction and supervision to employees 
  • Take every precaution reasonable in the circumstances for the protection of employees
